The Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine is committed to providing better care for all children affected by pain-related conditions.

The SPPM Advocacy Committee is dedicated to advocating for and advancement of the comfort and care of children and families affected by pain, as well as providing an infrastructure for best practices guiding the clinicians involved in the care of these pediatric patients and families in collaboration with other SPPM committees and like minded organizations.

The SPPM Advocacy Committee may be involved in creation and/or review of statements, papers, policies or guidelines etc. affecting the pain care of children everywhere. Its members  will primarily consist of the SPPM members, but may involve patients or parents of children with pain or representatives from other organizations with a similar or aligned mission.
