Invitation to Support

The Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine is pleased to invite your company to exhibit at the 13th Annual Meeting. The Society is the premier clinical pain society dedicated to the treatment of acute and chronic pain in young people from birth to age 21 and young adults in the transition to adult practices.

The Society membership includes physicians from the fields of Anesthesiology, Neurology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics, Psychologists specializing in the treatment of chronic pain, Allied Health Professionals including Physical and Occupational Therapists, and Nurses.

Many members specialize in the treatment of both pediatric and adult patients, are active in research and other academic ventures, and are considered thought leaders in their field. The Society membership boasts an incredible variety in their skills and conditions treated. Some members may be interventional proceduralists while others may specialize in acupuncture, integrative, or complimentary medicines.

With the breadth of disorders, settings, and specialties represented by the Society, we welcome your support in our mission to alleviate pain in our children and young adults.

We expect 175-200 attendees.

SPPM Annual Meeting Program

The SPPM meeting will focus on topics of interest to those involved in the prevention, assessment, and management of pain in infants, children, and adolescents. The overall goals for attendees of the program are to enhance their existing fund of knowledge, and to introduce them to new and state of the art techniques and information that affect their practice and improve the care for children in pain.

The program brings together experts from clinical and basic science disciplines related to pediatric medicine, anesthesiology, pain medicine, palliative care, bioethics and neurobiology. General topic areas include neurobiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, regional anesthesia, anesthesia, surgery, patient safety, database resources, and risk assessment for abuse and addiction prevention.
