Please join the next session in the ChildKind webinar series.
About the webinar
Technology in the 21st century has the amazing potential to transform the way children experience healthcare. With the right combination of expertise, dedication and collaboration between people passionate about the care of children, the potential is remarkable. For ChildKind, we are especially invested when thinking of improving the experience of pain.
In this webinar we will explore the emerging role of extended reality (XR) in the treatment of pediatric pain. Panelists will discuss the following:
- Examples of bringing XR-based pain interventions to life and navigating the challenges of going from idea to implementation
- Efforts to create a collaborative network of pediatric pain specialists committed to advancing clinical care and research in this area, including development of collaborative partnerships and building the research infrastructure
- Efforts to disseminate empirically supported XR-based interventions on a global scale
The webinar will include brief presentations from our panel and will then involve a moderated discussion amongst all webinar attendees.
